Where Did I Start

Hi Dance and Fitness lovers, I'm Marina

My name is Marina.I come from Russia and  live in Spain. Dancing is my greatest passion.

I started my dance classes at the age of three and never stopped since then. I lived in the dance class learning the graceful ballet moves, modern and folk dances.

I used to live in St Petersburg and attend the magnificent balls there. The elegant historic dances and enthusiastic Scottish jigs inspired me to start teaching them in Spain as well.

My dance fitness journey as a teacher started when I got qualified to be  a Zumba instructor in 2016.We started Aqua Zumba classes in the best outdoor pools of Costa Blanca as long as energetic Zumba on land! I also got qualified how to teach low intensity Zumba Gold, an amazing toning program Zumba toning and high intensity Strong Nation!

FitSteps programme was the amazing discovery discovery for me as it combines the beautiful ballroom and Latin moves with the fitness. I was trained by Ian Waite ,a Strictly Come dancing legend professional. He inspired me to learn from the best professionals in dancing to become the best dance teacher I can possibly be for my students.

We won several FitSteps competitions including the award of the best FitSteps instructor of 2021 and we were featured in Lance Ellington’s musical video “Do you Salsa?”

join me for live and zoom classes

From Zoom to live classes join me

During the pandemic we organised Zoom classes to keep my students fit and healthy and that really helped all of us to survive at these difficult times. We still continue with Zoom to give the chance to the dancers all over the world to participate in our programs.

I love exploring different dance programs and another milestone for me was discovering Broadway fitness programs-high intensity Broadway Boogie and 567 Broadway where we learn the combos from different musicals. It gives us a chance to feel like a star at West End show, express ourselves through acting and dancing!

We enjoy diverse international dances and SOSA (Start of Something Amazing) dance fitness program with 37 dance genres is our newest program we will offer. Our aim is to make the classes inclusive to all participants-so seated Sosa will help the people with injuries and disabilities to join us.

While teaching I have seen the incredible benefits of dance fitness for physical and mental health. We make friends and organise amazing dance themed charity events!

If you love dancing, it can the best exercise that makes you happy and healthy. People say that my passion for dance is contagious and I can’t wait to share it with you!
